The Dragino LoRa IoT Development Kit is designed to facilitate beginners and developers to quickly learn LoRa and IoT technology. It helps developers to turn project ideas into a practical application and make the Internet of Things (IOT) a reality for an affordable price.

The Dragino LoRa IoT Development kit will show you how to build a fully functional LoRa network, and how to use the network to send data from a LoRa sensor node to a cloud server such as the Things Network.

A number of telecom operators are currently rolling out IOT networks, but because LoRa operates in the open spectrum you can also set up your own network using this development kit. When used as a private LoRa network, the LoRa gateway will connect your other LoRa nodes up to 5km however expect up to 10km range or more (when in line of sight) when connecting your LoRa node to the LoRa gateway.

Lora Gateway




The kit now includes a LG02 Dual Channel LoRa IOT Gateway, replacing the LG01-N. The LG02 bridges the LoRa wireless network to an IP network via Ethernet, WiFi or cellular 3G/4G through an optional LTE module. The LoRa wireless side allows users to send data long distances at a low data rate. The gateway utilizes ultra long range spread spectrum communication technology which gives a high interference immunity.


LoRa Arduino Shield






SX127x Shield is a Arduino shield featuring LoRa technology and based on Open source library.This Shield allows the user to send data and reach extremely long ranges at low data-rates.It provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimising current consumption.


SX127x Shield  is based on Semtech SX1276/SX1278 chip, it targets professional wireless sensor network applications such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, smartphone detection, building automation, and so on.




LoRa/GPS Shield




The SX127X GPS Shield is an expension board of LoRa®/GPS for use with the Arduino. This product is intended for those interested in developing LoRa®/GPS solutions.

In the LoRa part,the SX127X GPS Shield is based on the SX1276/SX1278 transceiver.The transceivers of the  Shield feature the LoRa® long range modem that provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimising current consumption.

In the GPS part,the add on L80 GPS (base on MTK MT3339) is designed for applications that use a GPS connected via the serial ports to the arduino such as timing applications or general applications that require GPS information.This GPS module can calculate and predict orbits automatically using the ephemeris data (up to 3 days) stored in internal flash memory, so the shield can fix position quickly even at indoor signal levels with low power consumption.With AlwaysLocate™ technology, the SX127X GPS Shield can adaptively adjust the on/off time to achieve balance between positioning accuracy and power consumption according to the environmental and motion conditions.The GPS also supports automatic antenna switching function. It can achieve the switching between internal patch antenna and external active antenna.Moreover, it keeps positioning during the switching process.
